                            Australian medical coding is a system used to classify and record medical diagnoses, procedures, and services. It is based on the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and the Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI). It is used to ensure that medical information is accurately reported and tracked for statistical and research purposes.
