                      The process of assigning unique codes to medical diagnoses and treatments in Australia so that they can be tracked and billed to health insurance providers is known as Medical Coding. Medical Coders uses a set of previously assigned codes for coding purpose. In Australian Medical Coding ICD 10 AM code is used. 

Some of the tasks of a medical coder includes :
